Trouble streaming Netflix

This internet is the slowest, worst internet I have ever used! I have to use my cellular data to even leave this comment because the webpage won't load on my computer. The price is outrageous! I am really disappointed. Satellite internet is the only option I have where I live and you guys are NOT cutting it. The sales rep on the phone said it would be no problem to stream Netflix and movies and we can't even get through a TV show without Netflix stopping to say our internet is too slow!

That's like a guy that buys a new Tesla car and gripes that it only goes 21 MPH.  He learned that the battery has to be charged first.

How's your computer?  Old?  Slow?  Pentium 70? 128MB RAM? Network card 10BASE-T? SiS video card with 2MB  on-board RAM?  Windows 3.1 or the better Windows 95? How many programs start with Windoze and stay resident, even when you're not using them?  System running entirely on the swap file as a result of programs that "Start with Windoze"

The above described system is purely hypothetical.  The point being that your system and it's configuration can wreck havoc with your Internet speed and your excede experience.

Computer, router, and whether or not you have used all of your data allotment for the month are all factors that may slow your speed.  Video streaming uses a lot of data and, if you've beeen doing that for a few days, unless you have a 30 GB plan or, a business plan, you might be out of high speed data and, slowed until your billing date or, you buy more data.

I am having to use my cell phone data to leave this response as well. Same story about the salesman. But all month since we switched to CLASSIC I've only had intermittent service and this is unacceptable. My cell data has skyrocketed this month and I can not afford to pay for extra cell data if I pay for exede...doesn't exede want to keep their customers? I can go back to data on my cell if need be. Don't ever use my.pc anyway.
