So I am currently trying to debug my parent's very spotty internet and believe that the problem might be with the dish and/or its connection to the modem. Here is the readout of the modem page:

FL (RX) POWER: -0.7dBm
FL (RX) SNR: 10.0dB
PTRIA COMM STATUS: Connected
CABLE RESISTANCE: 3.2Ohms

I am not particularly knowledgeable about these setups but after a bit of research, I have begun to think that the RX Power value is currently too high. Is this accurate and should we have a technician come out to fix it?

If you will get this little network tool, it will go a long ways to help you, and the forum, and the ViaSat folks to know what is happening... I have it running 24/7/365  https://netuptimemonitor.com/
