WFG in bridge mode not passing WAN IP to Ubiquiti USG

Spent 30 minutes on the phone with Viasat tech support, having to re explain the issue multiple times, to be told they don't troubleshoot it if it's not passing the IP. I spent most of the 30 minutes on hold because the phone support person couldn't really understand what I was talking about.
Anyone hit this issue and had it resolved?

Upto 2 IPs are assigned...if more are requested on your end....lights out.

Does hooking direct to port 1 work say with a desktop/laptop computer?

If your device is a Gateway, I know nothing about it.  If acting like a switch, and more than two devices are engaged, then this might be the issue.

I can confirm that the UBNT Unifi USG works fine in bridge mode. Also tested using the VOIP (on USG) port as a second WAN and taking another public IP. Load balancing is working. Tested with current unifi software on a SurfBeam2 +.  You must be plugged into port 1 on the SurfBeam2 + modem. If you wish to multi WAN you will need to install a switch to port 1 on the modem and connect the USG to switch.

Place modem in bridge mode, modem reboots. Modem blue light. Plug USG WAN into port 1 of modem.

I have setup a few modems in bridge mode as well

For some reason, sometimes the sequence you suggested does not work.
(that is way I always try first)
When it doesn't, I power cycle modem again with the router still powered up.

Also sometimes it works to simply get into the router's interface and have it refresh it's public IP
Always works

Have tried all of the above, with no luck...  Will try again making sure I let the WFG indicator go blue prior to connecting USG.
Thanks!
