I believe the Exede network experienced a major 'crash" on/about 3 November 2015. Since then, I have been experiencing problems with my service. Specifically, webpages not loading completely/correctly, slow downloads, etc. I live in the St. Louis, MO area.

My current modem readings are as follows:

Rx Power: -49.4 dBm
Rx SNR: 6.5 dBm
Cable Resistance: 1.5 Ohm
Cable Attenuation: 22.2 dB
Tx IF Power: -35.5 dBm
Tx RF Power: 14.5 dBm

Susie, the numbers look very good, except for your Cable Attenuation being at 22.2 dB. This number looks very high, it should be in the 5.0 dB range. Have you tried to power down the modem and after a few minutes, plug it back in. Rebooting the modem may correct this problem. If it doesn't, send an email to the moderators at exedelistens@viasat.com

Yes, Exede went down that morning, but that has nothing to do with your poor modem status readings.  I think your coax cable or connectors are suspect.  If you are so inclined, you could try loosening and retightening each of the F connectors.  But, I think you said you were under warranty in another post, so get them out there to fix it.   Otherwise you will limp along with marginal service until you are out of warranty and then have a hard failure.
