Why is it always impossible to buy an extra Gig off of their website and always having to resort to making a phone call?
Because viasat uses salesforce and it needs hand holding at all times. It should have the internal resources to make such a site in house. But its mostly managers running viasat with point and click interfaces and blaming 3rd party vendors....email and phone I am looking at you.
The Viasat account mgt page is the slowest site of any of the 100's of sites I interact with weekly. That is a damn sad state for a technology company. It is not even in the top 100k websites for traffic. Hell my own site gets 2mil unique's a month and it's run off 3 servers and loads 85% faster.
