Other than Rain, Snow, what Affects Viasat service weather wise Because for 2 nights last week when I checked my network status on messenger it said weather may be affecting my service and my speed would be slow and as far as I know it was clear outside! Does fog affect service? I know dark clouds affect service when its raining hard just to the south west of me! But if anyone knows what all affects service weather wise let me know! Thanks

Weather can be at your location or the gateway.

Also, just because they say it is weather doesn't mean it is weather. Airlines will claim weather delays too.

There's an uplink and downlink. The gateway experiencing bad weather can cause an outage / SNR drop = worse service

could also be data issues

Ok Yeah well the gateway must have been experiencing bad weather 2 nights last week! and Vet sat user I agree I think alot of times they slow my beam down in the evening when its not congested! But Im way happier with viasat2 than I was with viasat1! I have used 263gb with 12 days to go and as of now 7:05pm EST my download speed is 9.98
