We will be having new shingles put on our roof this week. Will we have to have someone 'out' to realign the Exede dish after?

Possibly so. Sign up for easy care just in case.

It’s a program for a monthly fee that allows one free dish move or realignment per year. Don’t put the dish back on your roof please. Your shingles will thank you.

More than likely yes (roofers can generally get a TV dish realigned but satellite internet is a little more sensitive)  - I had it done a couple of years ago, and the last thing I wanted was having lag screws placed into my brand new roof, I had the dish moved to a non-roof mount location (more of a side mount since a pole mount wasn't possible).

P.S. I had it done prior to the roofers arriving to minimize down time.

When I got my roof done they managed to keep the dish in place as they carefully unbolted one anchor at a time. The dish still worked afterwards but it was retuned at a later date by a tech as it was slightly off, but not enough to keep it from working.

I would recommend Easycare as well. Even if the dish isn't taken off, someone could potentially bump it out of alignment. moving around on the roof. It'll give you a free relocation (aka we can put the dish back)
