Does it say they are VS-2 plans? Just wondering how you know they are VS-2 plans. I have 'unlimited' plans, silver and gold, but at 12Mbps, I would not consider that VS-2 plans.

From my understanding the 50Mbps and 100Mbps plans are VS-2. Those were not in my zipcode a week ago, but are now.

Lucky you!!! I sure hope you are on a overloaded beam because that would be pretty rude to roll out the new plans to beams that have had space for the past couple of years and let customers that have been tortured on their overloaded beams continue the pain. I am on a ridiculously overloaded beam and no new VS-2 plans here.

I think my beam is a little congested as my speeds in prime time will drop down between 1-4. But I have no plans to move to VS-2, I'm fine with what I have. I don't think I would have the line of sight for it anyway.

Ever since Jan 2018, we cannot even get our speeds to launch Netflixs...it is sooooo frustrating - ViaSat launches all these great Liberty promos when they know that they are not even close to being ready to add that congestion

So,, Brad, or anyone that is actually Viasat.. No bashing,, but I would like to know, honestly 100% know.. Is Everyone going to be offered V2 accross the Nation today and Tomorrow.. ?? Or is this still going to continue for weeks and months??
Surely that cannot be to much to ask.. The Announcement said today.. and earlier it was the 28th.. so are we going to have access tomorrow or not?

Hi Rose
Are you on a unlimited plan? If so you might need to tweak the resolution

Hey Brad, I would love to hear where you are going with this line of thinking, cause I really do want to get better resolution..
Though I just mention that you did not answer the question.. AKA it could be weeks or months before I see V2..
So, I guess can you address both..

Nothing here (not currently a customer, but most neighbors have satellite, and I had Wildblue for about 7 years), checking the page "Service Not Available In Your Area
Viasat satellite internet is unavailable in . Due to strong demand, new installations have been suspended in your area. We apologize for the inconvenience". Same thing it's always said all but a handful of months the last 6 years.

That will probably change actually. You're probably in a really busy beam but ViaSat 2 is on a rolling release so if it's not there now check back in a few days

My offerings just changed by having silver removed. I see Gold and Liberty 12, both 12 Mbps. When I check for offerings for non customers, 12 Mbps Bronze, 25 Mbps Silver and 50 Mbps Gold is offered.

Better jump on that Liberty 12 plan while you still can.

I have Freedom 150 at 12 Mbps for $100. Nothing tempting yet.

If you are not bumping up against a hard 150GB cap, why would you give that up? Lower video resolution and a lower amount of priority data isn't worth it is it?

well they are skirting the line.. AKA,, Plans are available.. and they are saying that Unlimited is available nationwide.. They are just not telling that Viasat two is not available nationwide to the Home market..

I am hoping so,, the staff here and at the home office I am sure they are ready for us to have it, and I know it is not their choices.. I just think that the PR team let us get excited and has not ever come back to say, this is the plan, and here is why we needed to do it....
FYI,, I hope you are correct, but I just spoke to the local installers, and they have been told that Viasat is continuing to push back the launch and they here in Alabama are being told that next monday is the earliest that we will possibly see any of the plans..

My post may have been misleading. The VS-2 plans are showing for my zipcode. I do not have any VS-2 plans on my account page.
