First, stating your download speeds can even be 100mbps is a joke. Your prices are ridiculous and unlimited DOES HAVE A HARD CAP, (didn't think you could go slower than dial-up speeds) don't be fooled with the reworded "deprioritized" bullcrap, it's the same thing. *Cancelled after less than one month of use* ADVICE: BUY A HOTSPOT & DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! I live less than five miles from Downtown Dallas and not in the boonies (no offense) and the service utterly sucked. Yes, I was used to high-speed ATT&T internet for years and hadn't used these speeds since circa early 2000's. But I was told nothing but failed promised and was basically pushed into this service. I mean really, what company sends you daily personal texts before your installation date stating they're free that day (which thought was odd, but nice at the time). I am actually in violation of my lease from where they installed the dish, PLUS cannot even close my bedroom window because of the cord they placed through it in winter. Now my 8 1/2 month pregnant self has to somehow get on a latter & retrieve some part of the dish off and send it back, great. I admit I should have known or done research on multiple aspects. Such as there really is still dial-up speed internet in the city and everywhere, hotspots are way faster, the contract years, building policy on dishes, speeds on internet, etc. But learned the hard way and I'm out hundreds of dollars for being naive. I do understand if you live in the mountains or a secluded area you may have no choice, but I had choices and I called and fell for the car salesmen pitch. Womp, Womp. Regardless, people do your research on this company and service before settling into the contract, I promise you there are way better options out there, even with this oh so hyped, but piece of trash "vista-2 satellite", some crap I read somewhere. Anyway, that's all I have to say. Literally every other review is 1 star basically.

These forums used to be flooded with so called experts. But now you are lucky is you can see one. I just updated to VS2 Unlimited Gold 50. I tried to tell the person I talked to yesterday what the problems were on my system and she wouldn't shut her damn mouth long enough to hear what I was telling her. All she wanted to do was charge me for a service call and try to sell me a service plan plus a damn telephone. I told her to stick it up her bum. 

Then proceeds to tell me that there is no more Tech Support. 
I liked it when this company had all there service reps and techs in the US. I am about to contact the Governor's office about this hole ordeal. I only have had this service 2 1/2 weeks so I should not have to pay for a service call. It is a NEW INSTALL. 

Plus the boob that did the install used a pole that is so short I can't even mow the grass around it. My wife went out back and hit her head on the TRIA  and she is only 5ft 1in tall. Hey VIASAT I hope to hell you read this. Not only are you not giving me what I have paid for but also doing Installs that put the customers in the path of high doses RF at a high frequency, I know what prolonged high freq. will do to the body.
Mine sets pointing right towards the house.  SO wake the hell up and start hearing what the people are saying.

Well you can't put a Viasat dish on a metal roof in the first place, it isn't allowed per the installation specs. That is why I wondered the type of roof.

Surely you have something in mind to fix this.  This is a $10 service, not $80.  Useless.

Where in the hell do you get a $10.00 service call from? ANd how in the hell do you know what I was told? Explain yourself. My system is down again. I have all the records saved with the speeds be they good or bad. But at this point they are more bad than good. I have about had it with this company. My system has sucked for the last two weeks. Not dependable at all. Wife couldn't even pay bills for the last three days.

I think it was a bad attempt at humor, as in the service isn't worth $80, but $10.  Not a service call, but the service.

Yea you may be right but right now my sense of humor is out for the evening. After what I been through with tech support.
