Viasat, You'd better heed my warnings as of right now. I will be the one to spill the beans on you guys. If you don't think I'm going to. Then so be it. But I'm giving you guy's a chance to fix your wrongs and I know this company can do good. But you better heed my warnings Viasat! Don't ever underestimate me! I mean it Viasat! I don't want to do this to you. But I will have no other choice but to do it. GOOD DAY!
P.S. Oh yeah. I forgot to say this. Maybe I'll save it for another time.

Also, note that the sweepstakes started at the beginning of the month and goes to the end of the month. Once the month ends, we will be randomly selecting a winner from the pool of Viasat Browser users.
Thanks!

FWIW, the Angry Mob Fun Run started on January 15 with some policy changes over on legal:
https://www.exede.com/legal/
Specifically the 3 documents that changed on that date.

Not only did I not come on here hardly. I've been observering of how people where treated. Ect. Ect. Ect. There is always a reason behind everything I do.
Ya know what? I honestly think Viasat is so funny that I'm actually laughing at them as I type. HAHAHAHAHA!!!
I knew Karma was going to bite Viasat in the rear end. It always seems to happen when I always have encounters with companies and friends. Karma is coming after Viasat now! HAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS TOO FRICKING FUNNY! Keep it up Viasat! Who knows what else karma has in store for you! HAHAHAHAHA! WAY TO FUNNY!

I used to be a Viasat cynic until I took the advice of various people on this forum and invested in data management tools. Now I am quite satisfied with Viasat. I usually have about 4 gb left over monthly on my 12 gb Liberty 12 plan. I have no need to stream and have enough Netflix/Playon entertainment to keep me happy. The $50/month fee seems ok to me.
On the other hand, it appears some of the vocal staunch Viasat defenders have either jumped ship or are threatening to jump ship.
Given enough time, water eventually will seek its own level.

Viasat's current speeds are exceeding their promise to me so I have no complaints.

Moderators -- Can you provide me with the data for the number of subscribers to beam 328 as a function of time? For instance, How many subscribers to beam 328 now? Last month? Six months ago? One year ago?
Thank you.

So that I will know when to comment and to not comment,
are you saying you do not have that information and cannot get it,
or are you saying it is available but do not have the authority to disseminate it?
The aggregate information on this is publicly available and has been discussed previously on this forum.

@Steven Rice!!!
I CONSIDER YOU AS MY RIVAL ONTO THE SPEED TESTS ONTO THE VIASATS BEAMS WE ARE LOCATED AT!!! I CHALLENGE YOU TO A SPEEDTEST 1 ON 1!!! This is between you and me. Your plan vs my plan. To see which one is the best one with the magic beam. DO YOU ACCEPT THIS RIVALRY AND BATTLE!?!?!? :3
but... If Steven doesn't want to accept. Then I totally understand him for not wanting to be my rivalry. So I'll just do it myself. :3

But hopefully you can pass the messages up the chain these changes have upset customers, driven some to leave, and anger even those not impacted to ask, who's next.

It is very difficult to see people struggling with their existing plans while others on here brag about getting more than their plan even entitles them to. That is a slap in the face and NOT right. Strike a balance so that everybody shares the pain.

This is the biggest mess both publicity wise and business plan wise I’ve ever seen. I have always dealt with slow evening speeds. Now I deal with worthless internet speeds though I pay a large chunk of change every month. I’m offered alternatives that don’t exist to pacify me?
Craziness. I’ll be canceling by the end of March and look forward to the demise of a company that turned so anti consumer so quickly. May 5g eat your lunch, and low orbit earth satellites pick up the crumbs you thought you had with military and airline contracts.

I’ve been a satellite customer over 10 years. I think 12 years but can’t find my original contract.

from the Bandwidth Usage Policy:
"The Viasat Bandwidth Usage Policy is designed to ensure that Freedom Plan
subscribers receive the full benefit of their service plan."
From the Network Management Policy:
"Network traffic may be prioritized during periods of congestion based
on subscribers’ data usage or potential data usage."
Can you say oxymoron?

But I am not going to pay more money to this company for that.
There is always Hughesnet. Again, get do that out of spite.
What's the deal with satellite internet....

Never really saw that many complaints about 2. Would have switched last year even if it meant paying an early termination fee. Money was never the problem. Just lack of options.

Nothing on Viasat-1 is advertised as above 25. I believe it has to be 2, but without a full functioning beam (as intended).

That is why Viasat's customer base has remained stagnant and they dont want to report subscriber numbers anymore. They just want to report revenue/sub. Why? Driving people to higher priced plans increases this measureable.
