For the first time ever, my Viasat internet is so slow I can't even run a speedtest. I tried the ones I always use like Oolka and Up Down speed test, plus a couple of others i found to try. None can measure it. It times out and produces an error message with each one.  Well Done Viasat.

Yea they seemed to have slowed alot of ppl down within the last month or so , if you can get decent cell coverage in your area you might wanna check into getting a verizon jetpack + unlimited plan for it

thank you for the tip.  I will check it out . when I have the $400 to get out of my contract with Viasat. Viasat is one of the worst mistakes I've ever made as a customer.

Depending on what plan you have, you might be able to get out  with the early termination fees waived.  If you think you want out, give them a call and find out!

They let me out of my prior contract without a termination fee.

I have signed up for a new plan (Gold 50) and the new equipment is supposed to be installed next Monday. Let's hope that solves the problem for a couple of years.

That's a Viasat-2 high density spot beam. You should be fine.

What plan are you on? Did you get the "Plan Policy Update" email? They allowing some to cancel and not pay the Early Termination Fees.

There is no termination fee that would cost $400. The fee is $15 per month for each month remaining. The contract is for 24 months.
