Viasat finally came to my neighbourhood - Plans are no good

Well, after literally years of waiting, ViaSat finally came to my area.  (Well, back to my area.)

And the plans are no good.

Liberty 12, 25, and 50.

I was really hoping for something better.  But alas I work from home and need about 60 gigs a month.  (70 would be better)

So as much as I really, REALLY want to come over to ViaSat, I am stuck with HughesNet.

Very disappointed.

What's wrong with Liberty 12?

Yea. I mean my primetime priority data speed has been around 500kbps. Can you imagine what my non-priorty speed would be!

I'm really curious if those Liberty plans are on Viasat 2 for the original poster.

If so, Liberty 12 would be perfect for working from home since it gives speeds up to 5 mbps during the day (after priority data is used up.)

Well, the original poster made it sound like Viasat wasn't available in his area before.  That makes me wonder if these plans are on the new bird.

Think about it. If Viasat-2 was available there, they would be selling more than those little plans so they could make more $$$$.

Lighthope,  I'm sorry you are not happy with the plans we are offering at this time.   Continue to check viasat.com as plans change often.
