Now that's what Unlimited Silver on VS1 should be delivering - whatever the engeneers have been up to lately, it seems to have helped here as compared to a month ago. Speeds right where they should be.

I will admit, doing better for me too!

1.2Mbps.

Yea. Don't think I am going to start jumping up and down for that. But it is 100% better than what I saw a week ago.

I see no difference. You know full well Bev one speed test is not a big enough sample. Give me five daily speed test at 8pm before we start handing out any kudos :).

I don't post if I don't get close to the same on 3 different tests. SpeedTest, Testmy and Via Satellite. All running within 3 Mbps of each other.

One day does not make a trend either. My speeds ate consistent with the Captain's below.

Let's hope my beam is just one of the first to improve and, hope it stays that way. It's never been horrible, but was down to the 12-17 Mbps range for a few months. Other than the video problem after using all of my Priority data, it's been fair all along here. Just that 21 kbps video trip was a total fail. Video back to 1 Mbps which is where Silver is supposed to be.

I still think it was throttling available speed rather than just cutting it to 1 Mbps on video.

I agree. The "unlimited" plans are smoke and mirrors. They are no more unlimited than the old plans. At least the 150GB priority that some were fortunate to get was a good start, but if you have a Silver plan as it is constructed today, is it any better than the old 25GB plan with a 5 hour free zone with no video restriction?

Located in Michigan with the Freedom Plan. Below 60% usage and this is pretty much how my service works every evening between 5PM and 2AM for the past few weeks.

I'm on beam 350 which covers the panhandle of FL and lower parts of AL and GA and on this test site I just got .67mbps dn and 4.95mbps up, this is on my VS1 setup. On VS2 I got over 17dn and 3up.

About midnight on the 13th.  Here is where I am at...

Download :: 381 kbps

So with speeds that bad on priority data, would being throttled really be much different?  I might as well use all the data I can.  While not an unlimited plan, wasn't the hard cap suppose to be 225kbps?
