I've had to have my dish re-aligned once and it was $95 plus my time off work.
The tech showed me a website where he was able to optimize dish alignment by initiating an alignment phase and then tuning the dish alignment based on an audible tone made by the dish when alignment was considered optimal.
I spent an hour on the phone last night with tech support and was basically told net traffic was the issue. (At least I was given a $25 credit.)
I am not convinced my speed is down 60% just because of net traffic and would like to verify my dish alignment.
Does anyone know about the website I described that the tech used? There's no reason to pay $95 PLUS lose 4+ hours of pay for something so easy to do myself. You literally loosen a few nuts, move the dish based on the audible sound and then re-tighten once optimization is achieved.
