Using Microsoft Outlook

I use Microsoft Outlook. With the new email platform, it seems that once an email is received in Outlook, it no longer exists in my Wildblue account, whereas previously, all my emails were retained so I could always login and see everything received going back for a long period of time. Why is this?

Hello David, all emails receive through your Wildblue mail you should receive through your Outlook client as long as it’s configured correctly. As far as if the emails remain on the server that is actually options through Outlook. It sounds as if you may want to review your settings for your Outlook options. Just wondering if this response worked for the person who asked this question, because I have had the same problem. If this is in the Outlook options, I'd like to know where to find it. I can't review ANY old emails without logging in at home, which is very frustrating.

That response was not helpful. The issue was finally resolved via a chat session with someone sort of familiar with the new email platform & all it involved was picking the correct option under MAIL PREFERENCES. It had nothing to do with any OUTLOOK settings.

Log in to your Wildblue email account. Click on PREFERENCES @ top, then click on MAIL @ left. Go to bottom of screen. See section entitled ACCESS FROM OTHER MAIL CLIENTS. Look down to INCOMING DELETED MESSAGES. Select one or other of the bottom two choices for "Leave incoming deleted messages in the inbox."
