Upload on Silver

Here’s something one doesn’t hear much about; UPLOAD speeds.
When I’m on the road, d/l isn’t as important as upload for I often will stream from my home server to wherever I am or from my home DISH receiver.
The Silver has been a very reliable 4-5 up even past the 150 gig threshhold.

Ifnyou do upload, at least this beam whatever it is, the speeds arn’t too bad. Relatively speaking, for satellite.

I’ll moan and gripe with the best given problems. But fair is fair and credit due shall also be given.

Fair point. I think so few people really tax the upload side at any given time, so it stays congestion free.

I rarely upload enough data to even measure. I do all my backups on other isps.

I'm on Silver unlimited and the upload speed is nominally 3 mbps but actually (eg livestreaming via YT) below 1 (and I'm way below my cap). Disappointing and frustrating. I would be interested to know if this would deteriorate further once I reach my 60Gb cap.
