Amanda, you can view your bill at https://my.exede.net/ or call 855-463-9333 for information. If you prefer you may also email your account and contact information as well as your billing question to exedelistens@viasat.com. I suspect there were installation charges on that bill, it would be a good idea to have a look and see exactly what you were billed for.

As for unlimited, I'm afraid the technician may have been being a bit optimistic and, misled you. Yes, sometime early next year Viasat 2, which was launched in June, will be ready to come online and, better, more liberal data plans will be offered. As to if there will be unlimited in your area or not, we don't know yet because Viasat has not announced any of the new plans. Keep an eye on your portal, any new plans will be shown under the change plans options when they become available. That is going to be over the next several months, into the early part of next year, so keep checking.

That is called a prorated bill.  You were likely charged for a month plus whatever amount of days you had service before that month.  My first bill was very similar.  My second month's bill leveled out at $60.99.  Be patient and your second bill will level out as well.

Hi Amanda,  Your first bill is always higher than any bill after unless you make changes to your account.  Please see the link for assistance on how to view your first bill.

Thanks Steve. My billing is via a company called TrueBand.

I tried using that account number to register with Exede and got the message: "This does not look like an Exede Internet service account number".......

For what ever reason I have NRTC, Trueband AND Exede....   Throw in Windows 10 and I'm about to pull my hair out!

mike, Since you are not a direct Exede subscriber, you will have to go to NRTC to get your questions resolved.

Yeah Steve is correct. As much as we'd like to assist on a NRTC account or wholesale account we have ZERO access to those.

For what it's worth, I have Exede through the NRTC. Getting ready to switch though (2 year commitment way past). Would much rather deal directly with the company providing my service than a third party.

The folks at NRTC have been overwhelmingly nice, polite and professional so I'll try to work with them to resolve my issues. But if they have no influence over Exede then what can they do?? How do I get my service directly with Exede?

Amanda, you may want to check for new plans in your area now. Unlimited has been released in some areas as of today.

It's not unlimited. Read the fine print. It is 150GB of priority data. So basically a 150GB Liberty Plan.

Travis,

This plan, with the three month discount, is only available for new customers, not existing.  It also is only available in certain areas.
