unknown excessive data usage

i purchased an extra 5gigs on thursday night and we had used them all up by Saturday night even though we were all using our devices less. we have since installed some meters on all of our devices to see if there is some bug using up data without our knowledge. but it really does not add up.

We can certainly look into this for you. There could have been some stuff running in the background (ie app updates that could run in the background that have very little to indicate it happened, and so on) if you want to email us at exedelistens@viasat.com we can review this for you.

I did a simple easy to follow video showing some basic steps users on Limited Data Plans can use  to keep from going over their monthly data caps. You will need to be using a wireless connection for the Metered Connection Setting. Hopefully this will help fellow Exede/Wildblue Customers with better data management.
