My data meter has been reset back to 0..it wasn't supposed to do that for another 6 days. Which is says underneath the data meter. I haven't been charged but I am hoping that this does not add another week to my monthly allotment. Has this happened to anyone else?
My meter was at 4.8 on the 1st of the month but then reset to zero a few days ago, not sure exactly when. It shouldn't have reset until the 19th of this month. I knew that it was a mistake and assumed that it would be corrected when it got noticed. Today it is at 3.0. Don't know what is going on. I assume my usage should be 7.8. Sure don't want to get charged more since it was a mistake and not under my control.
I had the same thing happen to me a couple months ago...usage reset the day before it was supposed to. I used probably 2 gb that day, but usage reset on it's normal day, so pretty much got a free pass of sorts. Still it would be a good idea to contact Exede and let them know what's going on just to be on the safe side.
It's not unique. It has happened to me several times. The first time I was afraid to use the "extra" data that was there, but an email exchange with an Exede moderator said to enjoy. So, I guess occasionally your data count gets nuked. Enjoy the extra. My observation has been that your billing date and data refresh date will remain the same.
