I am having issues with accessing specific sites. I have a few domains hosted on Godaddy. I normally access these every day and normally have no issues.

Right now when I go to one of these sites (example bourg.us), I can access it for about 1-3 clicks (going from page to page) before it goes "problem loading page". The same problem happens on each domain on this server.

What I have tried:
* Took router off and connected directly to modem with main computer. (no change)
* Took router off and connected to laptop. (no change)
* Connected by smart phone thru router. (no change)

During all of these attempts, I can connect via smart phone (without router and on 3g - not on exede) without any issues at all.

Godaddy checked dns records and tried from their end without issues.

I switched off automatic DNS server to google without any change.

I even switched hosting account to a dedicated IP address and tried to connect via IP address. Made no difference. Can connect for a few secs before a different page times out.

This has to be a internet exede issue. Any suggestions?

I don't have any information relaying to the specific websites you are unable to access. I do ask that you contact our Technical Care team and they can assist you and help to report and resolve the problem you are having. You can reach Technical at 866-945-3258 option 2. Thank you.

Hello All,

There can be many things that prevent access to certain websites from time to time. Here are some basic troubleshooting steps to try before contacting technical support:
1.) Reset you modem and computer,
2.) Perform a DNS flush, and
3.) bypass your router if you have one to determine if your issue is related to configuration or a possible network-related problem.

From latency to DNS routing and site-specific outages it can be a difficult problem to diagnose and it's usually quicker to contact technical support for assistance at 855-463-9333 if you are having issues with a particular site. .

You can also try http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ , a quick check to see if the web page is up or not.

You can try a Proxy workaround solution too:

Opera is a browser that you can download and install.

Opera has a built in proxy called "off road mode" that sometimes will let you connect to a site that exede is having trouble with. Enable it and see if you can browse to your site.

Often you can just use one of many free proxies available.
For example; http://www.usproxy.us/

Usually these issues do resolve themselves with time and the changing of the dynamice IP address may have something to do with that. A few domains have had ongoing problems though.

I too am having this problem. I have done all of the above including contacted tech support. Exede isn't doing me any good if I cannot access these websites because that is what I use it for. Please help, there has to be an answer, or i'll be forced to box it up and ship it back. I've only had it a little over a week. very frustrating.
