I am a new Exede internet user. I am able to setup and login to my online account where I can look at my account details, etc.

To setup email, my understanding is that I need to setup excede email account so I can get an account, then I can configure my Android/laptop to use this account.

My problem is how to get the excede account. If I follow the online help instructions, it tells me click the "Go to My Inbox" button. Then it takes you to a login page where it asks for user name and password. Then below that, there is a link "New Email User" that you are supposed to click. This link takes me to a "registration" page. This page asks me for phone number and account number. I enter this info exactly as it shows in the account information page. I get an error message saying it does not match information on file, so I cannot proceed further.

I have been on the phone with customer service all morning, got no more minutes left. They cannot help me (this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced).

I am about to cancel my internet service since I am unable to setup email account.

Anybody can suggest something? Thanks in advance.

Well this is the worst experience I have ever had. I can't get to my email or able to set up the new one. What is going on. None of the help center answers help at all.... If some one can make a suggestion on where to go for answers please let me know.

Found solution. Looks like using account number doesn't work. I tried it with MAC address (it has to be the MAC address of the satellite modem not your network card) and it worked. On a scale 1-10, I would give customer service negative infinity, totally useless.

Just get a Gmail email account from Google and then you won't have to change email addys every time you switch carriers. I've never used my email address, they even send notices to me via my gmail address. I have no idea even where to set up or get my new email from exede since they dropped the google interface. But it doesn't really matter since I only give out my gmail address.

I use gmail for most of my email. I use wildblue for when have to give an email address so you get a bunch of spam mail. Then go in a couple times a week and delete everything.

Jennifer - Did you get an email from Exede/Wildblue telling you to switch email providers?  If so, you should have received this link:
