Unable to login on my computer to community

I registered a Get Satisfaction account and allowed cookies for exede.com and getsatisfaction.com and I even allowed third party cookies on my computer.

But when I login it says I am successful and does the wheelie thing but then the page goes right back to sign in * register on the top.

I know my account works because it works on my smartphone which I am using to post this.

Is there another domain involved in login?

If you are running an ad blocker or media blocker such as UBlock, momentarily disable it to log in. I know UBlock will do that if all of the lists are in use and, you have it set to block pop ups.

If not, it may be your ad blocker or firewall, try temporarily disabling such things and see what the culprit is.

The logon/logged-in cookie is picky.  Although they are probably new, delete it/them and make it put in new ones in case yours are in a dis-allowed state.  They are:

community.exede.com
getsatisfaction.com

If using Firefox be careful.  There is a choice to remove all cookies, or just the one highlighted.

You can stay logged in forever and this is preferred, just never log out.  Just close the window or tab to leave.  When you come back you'll already be logged in.

I haven't ever had any problems with UBlock or Firefox but this place randomly logs me out no matter what I'm on at the time, then I have to log back in to post.

Edit - Like now. I had to log in to post this.

I haven't been able to log in here with Firefox since the V56 update. Cleared cookies and did everything else and it just doesn't work anymore. It goes thru all the motions and says the log in was successful but still doesn't log in.

I'm using Waterfox to post this and it still works fine on V55.2.2. I hope they first realize there is a problem and second fix it. :)

Must be my problem then too. However I tried WaterFox after importing from Firefox it still would not work. So I am using a fresh install of WaterFox and it is working. So an add on must not be behaving too.

That's good info except that I have the same add-ons in Firefox and Waterfox. I tried disabling all the add-ons in Firefox just to be sure and the problem persists. It must be something else because Waterfox has always worked correctly and Firefox did too until the V56 update.

And now that I've updated Firefox to V57 the login here is working right again. :)

Ever since the upgarde to Firefox 56, I've noted a number of web browsing anomalies. Unfortunately, I'm reluctant to upgrade to Firefox 57 (Quantum) since at least two extensions I find to be critical (Flash Control and YesScript) won't work with Quantum until (and if) they are upgraded to the newer web extension api.

If upgrading check to see if all extensions you've used and are comfortable with are still enabled (legacy extension support ends with 57).

Firefox 57 is really, really fast! I had to find some new extensions and adapt but it was worth it.

Works for me now so I don't need to do that. It can take a bit sometimes to come up logged in though.
