Unable to access Paypal Credit over Viasat

The main site loads fine but when I try to access Paypal credit it just gives an eternal spinning circle. It works fine over cellular so I know the site is not down. I've never had an issue with paypal credit before with Viasat. The problem just popped up today. I have already gone through the steps of rebooting the modem and router and that did not help. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Did not try that since I had to leave for work. But Paypal Credit loads fine over the WiFi at my job, so I'm pretty sure it's a problem with Viasat.

 Have you tried different browsers?

Yes. Same result with Firefox, Edge and Viasat browser.

Try a VPN on Viasat. There are plenty of free ones. That will bypass all the smoke and mirror tech Viasat implements to deliver faster speeds, but in doing so something there might be screwing up PayPal (ex: weather.gov at one time). If it works then, there is your answer!

Towards my end with Viasat, I never could get my local bank website to load. Changed banks and dropped Viasat. Problem solved!

I'll give it a shot with a VPN when I get home from work. Just seems odd because I have never had issues with Paypal before with Viasat.

One never knows. Perhaps PayPal changed some encryption schemes. Or Viasat changed something on their end.

When I had Viasat I had constant log on issues with many secure websites, usually I would just keep trying and I would get in. Another odd thing I had is search box results doing online shopping. I kept getting the "no results found" when I searched for an exact item I knew was on the website. I just chalked it up to latency combined with slow speeds. It didn't matter what browser I used. I even tried the Viasat one thinking it would work best with their service.

No luck with a VPN either. Just an eternal spinning circle and no error message given.

Try configuring your router or device's connection to use public DNS servers (e.g. Google, CloudFlare, etc.). Viasat has never acknowledged whether they allow using other DNS servers than their own, but some of my testing indicates that they do now. Since changing my router's primary and alternate DNS servers to CloudFlare's I rarely see issues that are related to DNS lookups. Worth a quick shot probably.

I could not get to my bank's website using Viasat default DNS servers. Tech support suggested I try googles DNS servers at 8.8.8.8 and 2nd 8.8.4.4 Viola it worked. Go to your pc network properties and untick automatic DNS and enter the above for DNS.

I'm sure you did but just to be sure .... the pc needs to be restarted or at minimum stop/restart the network connection and the browser after making the change.

Other than that, I'm at a loss.

I finally was able to get to the site with an Android tablet. Could not get to it with 3 different PCs using different browsers, clearing cache or with a VPN. Very strange considering I have never had a problem with Paypal in my 10+ years with Exede/Viasat.
