I think they have been tinkering with DAP on the highest congestion beams, trying to get everyone usable speed at all time and it isn't working right yet.

I've had WildBlue then Exede for over a decade and, I've never had any major issues. I recommend having Easy Care, now that it's available. That covers service calls for realignment of the dish, relocating it once a year, in case you plant a tree, build a addition or that farm behind you puts a three story metal barn in the wrong place LOL. Also covers emergency service calls like when step sons that don't listen to instructions very well "accidentally" fell a tree on your dish. (still not convinced that was entirely accidental on his part.) Of course it would cover a tech coming out to check your equipment if you and support decided you had an equipment issue too.

5.99 per month added to the bill sure beats having to come up with 95.00 all at once or, being out of service for weeks if something does come up that requires a call out. If not, the way I see it, each of us on Easy Care is helping insure others on Easy care get the service calls they need.

Yes, Exede is a great product. If you read carefully you will see most of the complaints are the result of either bad sales practices, poor installations or people simply not doing their homework and not knowing what they were buying.

Try out the other forum at this link. I (and many others) much prefer it as it is more user friendly, allows private messaging with other members, and it's easier to navigate to only the posts generated since your last visit. After trying it out, let us know if you agree.

Thanks Jim!  You're right, this one is not extremely user friendly...I can't see how to delete a double post, and don't have any idea why it happened to begin with! :)

I have had Exede for a little over a year now. I love the service, speed is great, and I haven't had any problems so far. I wasn't aware that this forum even existed. A friend of mine told me about it, and it provides some interesting reading. I see that there are some very helpful Champions on here. If I ever have any strange things happening with my internet service, I will be sure to ask for some help. Thanks Exede for such a great internet service for us guys living in the boonies.

Still am loving the service.   Right now the tropical depression has has hit West Central Florida....total cloud cover, and my speed test via testmy.net is showing 17.1 Mbps.  My beam is in Orlando, and my gateway is in Juneau, AL.  Not to say this won't change in a matter of minutes or hours, this is FL, after all :)

Yeah, mine dropped to 9 to 10Mbps all last week with the never ending thunder storms we had here, back to 17 to 18 today with clear skies so, 17 under clouds is fabulous. My partner moved here form Florida and, I swear he brought Florida weather with him. Don't like it, wait 10 minutes, it will change. :)
