Interruptions of Internet connection

What is wrong with Exede this week? The Internet connection seems to be lost about every hour, at all hours. It has disrupted many of my photo uploads and wasted a lot of expensive data allowance.

I am having the same problem with mine it is to point that I am unable to connect or lose the connection and unable to reconnect 5 to 6 times per day and it says when you are useing liberty pass your speed will be from 1 to 5 MBPS I cant get above 4 upload or download for over a week now . I am going to call in to complain tomorrow and be looking for a new provider if it cant be fixed I not going to pay that much for this service it sucks

I have tried Hughes for a day, but they lied about what I was getting for the same price (it was actually much worse than Exede), so I switched back, at great cost to me (replacing the dish twice). I am dreaming of FIOS (= optical cable from Verizon), but it is not available in my rural area.

Since I wrote the reply 2 days ago I have been keeping a list  of the problems I have been having.So far I have 7 times when I have tried to connect and I get a message saying there is  no internet connection these problems have lasted anywhere from a couple of minutes to about 50 minutes . I also get alot of problems with the speed of my connections so when  I try to get online and it takes forever to get on or it starts to get real slow after I have been online the speeds have varied alot but the 2 lowest speeds I have recorded so far is download 0.60 upload was 0.42 another was down was .90 and the up was 1.11 ( I have never seen the down slower than the upload. The fastest speed I have recorded so far was an down load of 3.98 and the upload of 1.29 . All of the problems that I have recorded have been during clear ,dry, calm weather and it is only over a 2 day period .
