to those who think I should be happy eith the service I got I moved back to Pa from Mo 4 years ago I had sattlite internet at 50 mb and didn't have any slowdowns in it So it is possible Penna is a backward state Mo is so far ahead of Pa it will never catch up because they don't have to they could do like Mo tell them to provied or not do busness in the state with in two years of the stste ordering it Mo has the best internet in the us

No, you did not have satellite internet at 50mbs 4 years ago.  Or even 4 minutes ago.

I've been around HERE for a while.  I've been around internet forums for much longer.  I've been around this earth for 45 years.  Completely going off the deep end on someone who complained about the service is on you, not him.  

Willis McNeal's rant here was not a direct blind-sided attack on Viasat so I went easy and showed him just how shallow he is rather than tearing him to shreds.
It wasn't Willis' shallowness you demonstrated.

You are not my mother, but that won't stop you from trying to act like you are.  Your spin won't change that Willis is a big baby.  Be a busy-body here if you like, but If you think what I had to say to him was over the top, you really haven't been here much.  I already said I went easy on him, and I did.  I put deserving people in check and I don't care who the bleeding heart liberals are that don't like that, especially you.  I don't buy that we can't say anything anymore that might offend somebody, maybe they need to be offended.  I don't go over the deep end, I go straight for the throat.  Willis only needed a tune-up, some need to be crushed and I go for it.  If you don't like it, don't click "like" on my post.  This is a forum, not a school of social decorum, and I don't have to please you in the slightest in what I say.  
 
When people show up here and state their troubles with their service, they get advised to contact viasat by email, but when they show up slamming viastat right from the start- they get trounced and that's the way it is.  Willis got a mild tune-up and you should quit pretending you run this place.  You'll have better results yelling at the neighbor with the barking dog.

I always get a chuckle when people say, "Viasat is only giving me 1 mbps during primetime.  This unusable internet has ruined my life."

I wish my life was as perfect as those people.

James Besser, I don't know where your comment went, but I fully agree with you.  There's no need for posts like that.  It's evident that the rules, if there are any, are very lax.  It's not only disrespectful to the person being targeted, but also anyone who uses the forum.  There should be at least a degree of maturity required of those who post on this forum, and again, respect for those utilizing it.  After all, a support forum should be a welcoming place, not a place that makes people think twice about asking a question because they fear that they may be attacked.

Seems like those who complain about their internet being way too slow just get torn to shreds. Wouldn't it be easier to just bump up the speed a bit so that people get what they are paying for? I feel ya, Willis! Nobody could possibly be happy with these speeds.

You haven't sent an email to viasatlistens@viasat.com, but you should.
Send the email, describe the problem, include your account number and contact information and then see how it gets handled.
 
Complaints are met with proper suggestions. Rants and accusations are handled differently.  Your other thread is well worded and if you send the email, you can expect good results.
