Time to consider selling spares?

Wait times are too long when just swapping a part. I’ve lost service entirely due to a failed external power supply (no 48vdc) but am told I have to wait 10 days for a tech to replace it. Silly.

I’ve got 40 years satellite / comms experience and actually have completed viasat installer/service training online. To lose my only comms - internet and telephone - for 33% of a month’s plan - because there’s no procedural way to self swap a module that simply plugs in - makes little sense. Sure, there are power supplies on eBay - $24.99 - but why do I have to go to eBay when viasat has them depo’ed across the country - but can’t let a qualified user swap one out?

Sell? If you're on EasyCare they should comp the part and send it. 10 days to resolve an issue is not the way to build a loyal following.
