Does anyone know if Exede prohibits third party ISPs? I was an OpenDNS user before switching to Exede from a slow DSL service; and while I've confirmed with OpenDNS techies that my router is correctly configured and pointed toward their servers, I'm not connecting with them but with, I presume, Exede's servers. The modem interface is such that you can't change any internal settings, so it seems the modem's DNS settings are overriding my router's? Is that a correct assumption?

Norman Powers,
More than likely, if you are using a router and have Exede service, you router may be picking up the service by default if connected to your Exede modem. You may have to reconfigure your settings in order for your router to use a different service and/or signal. The modem interface cannot be changed to another IPS's signal. Our technical support department may be able to assist you with this issue at 855-463-9333. Thank you.
