When wildblue migrated the new e-mails system to my computer, I can not get any e-mails in my outlook or send any e-mails from my outlook. I called the help desk and they walked me thru the change and it did not work at all. What do I do now? It has been several days with no computer e-mail.

Carol - You can always just log into the webpage instead of using your email program until you get things figured out.  If you are on WildBlue, you would log into: webmail.wildblue.net using your email address and email password (probably different than your account management password)

JEP, what are "Champions"?  Are they similar to "Chumpions"?  If you have any connections at ViaSat, ask them to take at look at the logs of tickets, chats, phone calls, and remote operations of our computers to resolve password/user name conflicts between the Wildblue and Exede platorms and get back to us with a resolution.

Jim - Champions have no connection with ViaSat, other than a history of trying to help out people who are having problems.  These forums are now well stocked with Exede moderators and the role of champions has declined, although I still try to help where I can.  Some folks are just here to complain and it can be a futile effort to try and help them. As a senior citizen, I know that the email configurations and myriad of passwords can be intimidating and confusing. Although there are many complaints and issues posted on this forum, fortunately it really is only a very small percentage of the customers.

Hi Carol, If your outlook isn't working, please send your account and contact information to exedelistens@viasat.com.  We'll work with you to get it working.   JEP is correct regarding accessing your email in www.go.wildblue.net.  Have a great day!

I already know that I can get me e-mail thru www.go.wildblue.net and have been doing so since wildblue screwed up my e-mail account during the so called Migration to the new platform over a week ago. I have talked to the help desk about a dozen times trying all their fixes to get my "Outlook" back up and working and trying to get my lap tops, I-pad and -phone working and migrating my  to no avail.  How can wildblue launch a "Migration" to a new platform when they are not ready?  What a travisty, just like launching obama care when it was not ready after they had years to get it ready for use, same with wildblue.

I just want to know when will wildblue have the so called "Migration" fixed?  Just give me a ball park figure.  If you can not tell me it will take a week or so or 10 days then wildblue is too incompetent to stay with.  If your technical people can not even give a time line to go back thru the programming codes to find the error then you have incompetent people working for you.  I may not like the answer, if you tell me it will take a month, but I will know you at least have people telling me the truth and not just saying "soon" which means nothing. When will the system be fixed?  I want a straight answer.

Chuck DeCosta a very upset customer.

Outgoing server is smtp.wildblue.net
Not sure if that is what you wanted.  I didn't think the Ipad used port numbers. (?)

I'm using Outlook on four different computers with WildBlue, but they are computers not Apple devices.

You should have received an email ahead of time letting you know that you needed to change some settings on your devices.  When you move from one home address to another, it is your responsibility to let everyone know what your new address is, not the Post Offices.  Same in this case.  You now have a new address on the internet where your electronic mail lives.  You have to tell your devices where to go get it.

Here is a link to all the information you need to set up any device you have to receive your mail.  http://help.exede.net/publickbhome?dosearch=1&searchKeyword=outlook+set+up
