So I ran out of data about 2 weeks ago and got my data reset just now and I can see a difference. I was on 144p video on Youtube and sometimes its good, sometimes its awful. I had Exede for almost a year and so far I love it. I used to have a dsl internet called frontier and it was slow. I live in a rural area and don't have cable available in my area. So I am thankful to have Exede internet in my normal life. Even when its slow, I am happy that I have a reliable internet provider.

Well its not really Exede anymore but I had it before the switch. I have a Exede brand dish and router so I really don't say Viasat that often.

The first pic is before my data was reset and the second is obviously after my data was reset.

So for 2 weeks, your speed was running throttled under 500kbps, yet you think Viasat is still better than your old DSL?

Yea, well sometimes its better like the speed on my old dsl is only up to 3 mbps. When like 2 or 3 people on the dsl it's around less than 1 mbps. So what I am saying most of the time its better than my old dsl. Also the upload on my old dsl is only up to 0.3 mbps. The ping is good sometimes on the dsl, but it can get high like Viasat.

If a DSL ping gets is high as sarellite internet, that is bad.
