OMG this happened to me also. I paid my bill with the app and it actually took 119.70$ out of my account 3 times. Due to the I have 3 overdraft fees with are 34.99$ each. Viasat says it will take 7-14 days to get my money back. All they wanna give me is a 25$ credit. Hello how the that make up for 102$ of overdraft fees. I want my money and I should not haven't pay these fees. I live month to month. And have over bills that will have late payments fees. Has this happened to anyone else?

Viasat uses "auto pay". Your bill will be automatically withdrawn on the day the bill is due. By you using the payment app, or manually paying your  bill on the Account website, you are actually making extra payments. In the over 10 years I have been with Wildblue and Viasat, I have never had duplicate payments charged to my credit card on file, but the, I have never tried to make a payment using the other online methods.

Sounds like they need better (more diligent) programmers for their billing software to simply detect that a payment is in progress regardless of source and not accept or prevent duplicate charges. We have computers these days that can make that determination ;) I sometimes get the impression that programmers these days have been conditioned to not ask "but what about...?)

I'm an old-school programmer. I ask "but what about ...?" because Karma will bite me square in the tuckus if I don't.

You've learned well, grasshopper and the "but you said..." excuse doesn't work for us - business analysts always feared requirement reviews with me  ;)

Hi Zachariah

I replied to you in another thread. If you haven't been requested by our team to send a copy of a rolling notice showing you were charged incorrectly and had overdraft fees as a result please email viasatlistens@viasat.com and we'll work with you
