I need help getting my Samsung bluray player connected to the internet. It was fine until today. I now get a message saying that I am connected to the network but not the internet, both wired and wireless. Tech wasn't much help, any ideas?

Do you have another device you can connect to the network and verify the internet is working?  If it is then it may be that the bluray player is trying to reach a web address that it cannot at the moment.

Can you login to https://my.exede.net and confirm you are not over your data allocation for the month?

Those are just a couple of initial suggestions.  I do not have one of those specific devices so any further assistance would be generalized.  The 2 above steps would be where to start.

It magically cleared up and I can now connect. This leads me to the conclusion the problem was on Exede's end, not wish my Bluray player.

I think what really floored me was the first rep I spoke to didn't want to help me at all because my Bluray player is "third" party equipment. Well that maybe so but it's "third" party equipment that worked just fine with a different ISP and for a month with this one. I am glad it cleared up when whatever issue Excede was having on their end cleared up, the customer service needed to be better.
