about every week or so I get an email, supposedly from wildblue asking for update to my information or service will either be stopped or limited. I feel this is not from wildblue even though it does look official. Is there anything I can do other than ignoring these emails to stop  them or discern if they are really from wildblue. I certainly don't want my service to be interupted or restricted as I use it for not only personal use but also business purposes.

These are phishing emails designed to con you into revealing your account's username and password. The links or reply addresses (despite appearances) go to fraudulent sites unrelated to Exede.

To avoid and recognize them, do a Google search on "recognizing phishing".

Hi Mike, Suspicious emails seem to be a way of life on the internet now. Hackers are constantly trying to find a way to gain access to accounts. Here is an article to explain this and help you avoid the phishing attacks. If you have phishing emails please send to exedelistens@viasat.com. We will have IT Security investigate.
