Super Slow Speed

 What is going on with the SLOW speed. I know you state "up to" but come on a speed of under 2 in the evenings is unacceptable! If I call in all I receive in the "congestion" . When is this going to be resolved?

Never Hank, it will never be resolved as long as they keep over selling the system to make money. They don't care about us at all.

Exactly, it's been going on 2.75 years for me with promises of faster speeds with new sat. That didn't happen so why expect anything else to happen

I agree 100% Tim.  3 years of empty promises.  VS2 has been "up" over a year now and service is worse than ever.

my service is so slow and there is nothing they can do and it cost almost 2 times as much I feel like such a fool I have Emiled and called 15 or more times I know they are doing this  to get me to sign a new contract it is a sad time for internet usage

That never helped me, can't tell you the hours wasted. For some there nay be a fix but not for me

I've been a subscriber for a couple of years now. I move up to the Gold Plan when Viasat 2 came online. The first couple of weeks were great. I was getting speeds up to 70 down and 5 up averaging the promised 50 and 3. Then it all went to crap. The consistency just isn't there. It's very frustrating as the wife works from home. She's now going to get an office in the city so she can have reliable internet. There were some days, didn't matter the day or time as I did speed tests all the time, where I was getting below 10 down and 0 up. I read that they had antenna problems early on. I wonder if it's a lingering problem with that??? Needless to say they continue to have technical issues. The potential is there just not the consistency.

I have had satellite internet for 20+ years. Primetime congestion has always been an issue (except when there are not many subs at the beginning of a satellite's inception). Demand continues to exceed capacity at times.

Been slow for me to on the Silver 25, I just switched to Liberty 12 a few hours ago because I feel why pay more when you get better for less. Going to go back with Directv with the money I will save now. I will still record my shows with Playon at 3am, I hope with the video extender turned off it has better resolution than Silver 25 had cause it was worse than VHS quality with not being in peak hours.

My speeds on the Freedom Plan are pretty much trash on the weekends, except for a short window during the early morning hours. Nothing has improved since Viasat 2 came online.

I hear ya for what I pay i can barely watch 144p thinking of going back to the liberty plan if that have it since its umlimmited is super slow anyway why pay so much for nothing
