They are thieves!!!!  I returned a personal router instead of the modem-instead of contacting me and having me return the correct thing, they charged my card-on top of the $200 charge for early termination fee for getting out of they horrendously terrible service.  Worst experience ever- please file a complaint with everyone you can -FCC, BBB etc.

I don't understand why you think Exede are thieves just because you sent back your router instead of the modem, which is required when you terminate your  contract or end your service. I am sure the complaints you file with those agencies will get a good laugh when they read them.

Hi Christal, The fee for the unreturned equipment is $150.00.   I'm sorry you sent the incorrect equipment. The warehouse does not have the resources to locate the correct account it belongs to and contact the customer.  When  the modem is returned, we will process a refund to you.

Not a real good idea to cancel a credit card (particularly in the knee jerk fashion recommended) - canceling in any fashion can do more harm than good in many cases unless investigated and proper steps are taken - Google is your friend...

Contesting the charges sure, but canceling to avoid charges agreed to in the contract no.
