Streaming Issues

I have finally made the jump into this century and purchased a flat screen Smart TV. I just love it, but as I have read this will blow though all my allowable data available. I am disabled and live way up in the mountains so watching movies is a way of life. So, big question what can I do so I can watch all the movies I want without having to buy one gig after another? Question two, if I am suppose to get free service from 12am to 6am why am I unable to stream my movies then?

Hi Katie,

Those are some of our most asked questions. If you are on one of our classic Exede plans, you do have a Late Night Free Zone. If you are on one of our Liberty plans (now our most commonly available plans) you will not have a late night free zone....however, the Liberty Plan gives you something called Liberty Pass where you can continue using your internet after reaching your limit with speeds between 1-5mbps. We've had some customers weigh in saying they were able to watch Netflix after entering Liberty Pass. 

If you are on a classic plan and want to stay on it. you'll most definitely want to change your resolution to a standard definition (480p or so) to avoid running out of data so quickly.
