Stolen Data Usage

I have had an account with Exede for 2 years, 7 months. I do not watch video, youtube, music downloads, and what have you. My usage is limited to checking daily Yahoo stories, email, and a few accounts. There is no one in my home which uses my computer, except me. My account is password protected, so no one could have logged in on it.

My account reset on 07/08/15. I did not have my computer on until later that evening to check my usage meter. When I did check it, my usage meter it already showed 3.2G used.

This usage is not correct!

I have sent three different email communications to Exede. I always receive automated type responses to my problem, such as: how to check my usage. However, I already know how and had already checked my usage.

Today, I also called Customer Service. Why is it that when we need help in this country, we have to deal with India to get help? However, when we signed up for this ISP, we could speak with an American that spoke English. I know you cannot really answer that question, but let me vent while I'm doing so.

Anyway, the Customer Service Rep spoke very broken at best English. Since I needed help. I pursued. Well, I did not get very far before I hung the phone up disgusted with his explanation.

He told me: that from 8AM thru 4PM, my computer was updated. That is pure crap. My computer was off. He said that computers update even though your computer is off.

Well, if that were the case, then why has this not happened for the last 2 years and 7 months?

I do know this for a fact: I am no longer under contract, and I can close this account from these thieving company. Thank God for Capitalism. There are other companies to sign up with, and some of them offer better plans.

This will not continue past the end of this month. I will get a new ISP!!!
