Still need to return modem/TRIA when cancelling service?

My mother recently was able to sign up with a different ISP that fits her needs better than Exede.  I'm going to be calling soon and getting her account cancelled.

With the VS-2 changes, does Exede still require her modem/TRIA to be returned?  She's been a customer for close to 4 years, so the equipment isn't anything recent.

Just thought I'd check first.  Thanks!

Probably.

I'm really only replying to bump your question up so it'll get seen by an employee and answered. ;)

Thanks...  :)   I went ahead and called on Saturday to get service disconnected.  They are sending out a box for the TRIA and modem, so I think you're right!

Yes. When cancelling service it still needs returned. Also recommend you record the tracking number and then printout a copy of who and when It was received. Better safe than sorry for getting it with large fee for saying it wasnt returned.
