Can I still return old equipment?

I have $150 charge on my bill for failure to return equipment. I had someone here install the equipment. He left it here. Didn't realize I needed to return it. Can I return it now and get the $150 credited?

What equipment did he leave?  You need the modem and TRIA ( shiny thing attached to your dish) to connect to the internet unless you have cancelled your service.

OK.  

Ask Exede to send you a box and you can send it back to them free of charge.  UPS will deliver the box and pick it up.

I found the box.  I sent it out a couple of days ago.  I will just get a credit on my bill then?

Jacki, you may want to check with UPS to find out when the package gets delivered (if you got a tracking #) and keep your eye on things. If they don't credit your account within a few days of receiving the equipment, you may need to call their billing department about it. I've heard some people have a little trouble getting credit for returned equipment (although I've never had to return equipment so I have no personal experience).

new modem just installed for unlimited plan.  I have box it came it, but no free shipping label.  How can I return old modem without having to go to UPS and pay for shipping it back?

You do not have to return the old modem when you upgrade to an unlimited plan. This has been stated several times on here and confirmed by Viasat reps.

If you were charged for equipment and just sent it to us you'll be refunded once our warehouse receives it. 

In regard to the modem upgrade just so we don't have any confusion here:

-IF you had our standard modem and upgraded to an unlimited plan that required an upgrade within the last month you won't have to return the modem. Anything prior is likely subject to a return as the policy was not changed at that point.

-IF you disconnected service all equipment is required to be returned at this time.
