Installation problems

I have had Exede for a total of 3 days. In that 3 the intallers came complained the whole time they "wanted to go home that this was there last day", Put the satellite in yard with cord coming from satellite to house It's just laying there for animals to chew. Now , I somehow have used 7.2 out of my 10 GB in 3 days? There's NO way. I'm regretting my decision unless shown otherwise.

Sounds like you may be the victim of a bad install - there are good installers and bad installers. Needless to say just wanting to go home is an indication of the latter and properly burying the cable is part of their job also.

Could be any number of other issues also including improperly grounding or aiming. It wasn't by any chance an install in conjunction with DirecTV or Dish was it? If so they may have setup your TV to use your router (assuming one) for certain data hungry features.

Installation with the pole mount requires installer to trench and bury the cable. Cable for animals to chew only shows overall job attitude. Most likely pole itself was not done right either. Check here and see if yours is installed in the same "passion". If confirmed get on the phone with Exede and escalate it to Field Ops department, you will be taken care of.
