I've called and all I get is the agent reading to me what to do. I can read, I've put the spam in the spam box. It does not help at all. It's as if there is NO spam filter at all. Very time consuming and frustrating.
While the email is 100% a free option we give customers; we use a company called Zimbra for our email service. We previously used Google and I don't think it's any secret that it did a VERY good job blocking spam. Unfortunately after Google terminated agreements to be an email provider for ISPs (like Exede) we had to use another company. Unfortunately Google was VERY good at what they do with email and other providers aren't quite as refined. To put it somewhat simply Zimbra isn't Google unfortunately. The only way it can improve beyond changing your spam filters is to mark appropriate items as Spam that way it can build its junk mail blocking ability up. Keep in mind if you liked how the email was prior to the change you can get a free gmail email address free at anytime and are not required to change internet providers to do so.
