Some tentative thoughts on how to make Liberty Pass work better.

I am about to complete a 2 day test drive of the Liberty Pass and so far have seen the following:

(1) during the day, with my 0.15 Mbps throttle off, the speeds have been at times as fast as if I weren't using the Liberty Pass, about 11 Mbps.

(2) at night, around 8:00 P.M., again with my 0.15 Mbps throttle off, the speeds have been as slow as 0.5 Mbps and once, speedtest.net actually locked up and I had to refresh the browser page and restart the test in order to get it to complete.

(3) at night and with my 0.15 Mbps throttle off, the data flow has been very volatile whereas, when my 0.15 Mbps throttle is on, the data flow has been much more even and steady.

(4) with my 0.15 Mbps throttle on, my internet connection has been the same as when I wasn't in the Liberty Pass.

Conclusion: keeping your internet connection at a steady moderate speed, in my case 0.15 Mbps, seems to make the Liberty Pass work much better.
