Solar Flare and Internet Loss

Have we lost satellite connections because of the solar flare?  My exede connection went down a short while ago and I see that I have zero reception on my shortwave radio from 7MHz to 28Mhz. I have never heard a disruption like this before.  I guess this explains why my internet connection went down. We must bow to mother nature.

I started with a C Band dish. Spring and fall were the most frequent time of year for the outages. I find it applies with the small dishes.

There's times when our signal is vulnerable to solar interruptions  but it's just for a few hours 1 maybe 2 times a year and the impact varies but I don't think we had any. Are you still out? Any thunderstorms or anything?

The internet went out at the same time as all the shortwave signals went out but everything is returning to normal now. I expect your network guys saw it happening.
