The 480p quality throttle algorithm on the “Unlimited” plan doesn’t seem to work with Hulu. So should I just stop paying for Hulu?

Does it not work if you set quality to LOW? I don't have Hulu so, I can't test it.

There is no way to set quality as far as I know. We watch it through Amazon and Apple TV. Amazon shows work OK. Kind of pixilated on our 60” TV tho.

When viewing Hulu, click the green gear at the bottom-right of the screen. Quality is adjustable there.

I don’t know what platform that is but there is no option like that on Amazon Fire, Apple TV nor IOS.

Go to the Hulu website on your computer and sign in to access what Judge is showing you. I would recommend AUTO on these streaming services if possible.

I’ve wondered about “live” tv. I have the 480 and have tried most of the streaming services through several devices. Directtvnow buffers like mad, Sling buffers, and Hulu ran ok but looked bad. All three weren’t watchable as my primary tv service. Amazon, Netflix, Vudu, moviesanywhere, Ultraviolet, all play well on both Apple TV and Roku (excluding prime time buffering). I don’t know if I’ve adjusted to the viewing quality or they look better than other services somehow. I’ve tinkered with settings, but the services that auto adjust play the best. Those I’ve had to manually adjust look like crap when streaming.

I use Hulu fairly often, I'm on the Silver Unlimited plan and setting it to "high" allows me to stream without buffering, so as others have said/shown just adjust it to that and then see if it'll work.
