HELLO Houston we have a PROBLEM!!!! can you tell I am a little upset over this whole deal.....

Others share your feelings.

This is a forum of primarily end-users. We'll help you answer questions as best we can. We don't work for or represent Exede so we can't change your relationship with the company.

Do you have a question? The only question I see is, "really?" The answer to that is yes. Welcome to reality.

If you simply need someone to listen to your complaints, I'm certain there are professionals in your area you can pay to do that. Their rates are typically $150 to $375 per hour.

Best wishes.

Good, a little fuuny, reply Brian.  I too have been on Liberty 18 ever since it came out.  Much better than our previous plan where when we exceeded our cap you really noticed especially during peak useage hours.  We've always managed to get to Libery pass fairly quickly - but I've moved on.  Since we run a small business out of our home we have a second ISP for our business.  My wife and I use that almost 100% of our time.  Our kids use our Exede  ISP.  They managed to go through 18 GB in 7 days.  Another 16 days - but I don't hear any complaints.  My plans are to stay with this 2 ISP configuration hoping that future plans using Viast2 will be very attractive.

First, All speeds are up to. That means the maximum speed you will see is 25 Mb per second. Exceeding your priority data allowance well of course reduce your speed As well weather in your area or at your gateway and, congestion especially during peak hours on your beam.

If you're seeing speed below 5 Mb per second even when you have priority data and it is early morning to mid afternoon constantly at those slow speed's then, let us know here there is some troubleshooting we can do before you have to contact support for help.

"up to"  so you will be content with getting 1-3mbps? anything under half is unacceptable in my opinion. so if it is up to 12mbps then anything under 7mpbs would be unacceptable.

WELCOME to the Machine, you are experiencing the reality of overload. You must learn to change your ways and adapt to the limitations. The people here have written and provided much wisdom on how to adapt and resistance is futile. Complaining/ Venting is not going to expand the machines capabilities so I have learned the lesson of "the sooner you conform the less stress in life". THE MOST VALUABLE LESSON THAT I HAVE LEARNED IS TO ALWAYS READ THE CONTRACT YOU SIGNED ABOUT BANDWIDTH . You really where provided information on the bottom line as to what one could expect in many cases concerning slow.speeds REGARDLESS of what ANYONE TOLD YOU or any ASSUMPTIONS that you might have made. I think this is the best help one can be provided . Oh! and let me warn you that shrinks do not always provide You with the service you thought were going to get ..either... So READ his/her contract before indulging also! Sorry Brian.

conform to getting screwed over? no thanks pal. conform yourself to a Verizon plan and teether that unlimited cell plan for $45 a month. no Verizon you say? try straighttalk unlimited plan $45 month , oh wait they went to $40 I think. contract? what contract I never seen nor signed one myself, the installer done all of it himself. but using up a months worth of data in 2 days when the Ethernet cable is unplugged is pretty insane. definitely that overhead useage using peoples data. what other reason could it be except on exede end?

Best wishes with your Verizon solution. Be certain what you sign up for is what you think it is. The unlimited offer I received from VERIZON, when I looked it over, said they would throttle speeds after 20 GB.

I have had it as a backup for about 6 months now and have not even managed to use 2 gig of the data, last month I still had 1.98gb left and that was after playing a few apps all month.it was $45 a month and actually went down to $40 unlimited talk, text, and as you stated about 20 gb of data at 4g lte speeds... with exede 10gb with late nite free zone, somehow all the data disappears even with the Ethernet cable off the back of the modem at a fresh data reset. and cost 2 times the amount of that one, even if I had to buy extra data from Verizon (which is highly unlikely) it would still pan out half of the exede bill. I been trying it out along side this service and so far it has worked awesome.
