its could be because everyone is using the internet cause of spring break... also during the peak hours its slow cause everyone is on it. also peak hours are from 5pm to 2am. therefore itll be slow. but also it could be congested also. i to am onto the 150gbs freedom plan. so therefore i to experience slow speeds also. but when that happeneds i tend to use less videos and more web browsing. also id recommened using the internet during the late morning like 10am to 12pm. or maybe from 1pm to 3pm. so therefore itll be aok. but during the peak hours is when itll be slow. so id suggest using it before OR after peak hours.

Did you get the speed boost modem already? If not you won't have the speed until you get the new modem

It's been over a week with bad internet. They said they would adjust something on the satellite yesterday. I'll be home soon and will test again. When your paying over a 100 a month for service you should get service. My speeds have been around .1 to .5 down. errrrrrrrrrr

Our Internet has been like this for over a month, complaining doesnt work! All techs tell us that due to the freedom pro gramme being over subscribed by Exede they have shut off a beam, well what ever it is over a $100 for .1 .2 speeds is not full-filling their part of the contract!! Breech!!!

Hi Elaine,  I'm sorry to hear your speeds are so low. Please send us your account and contact information. We'll take a look. There are many reasons that will and cause your speeds to be slow. We would like to verify if all the equipment is okay.

Dueto the nature of satellite-based internet service, there are many variablesthat can affect speeds, including, weather at ViaSat’s facilities or at thecustomer’s home, network congestion, a misconfigured home network or outdatedcomputer equipment and software.  Because of these many variables, ViaSat cannot guarantee any particularspeed to you. ViaSat discloses at the point of sale and in its CustomerAgreement that speeds may vary and are not guaranteed.
