Is there a footprint to Panama? Will it be covered by ViaSat-2? What company will manage it?

Gary, Here is the Viasat 2 coverage map. As to whether residential service will be available in Panama, that is up to Viasat but, I do know it isn't available at this time.

Hi Gary,  At this time, ViaSat is in the United States.  With ViaSat-2, we are expanding. Please see below from our CEO.
ViaSat2 is in elliptical orbit and will now be repositioned in geostationary orbit by abou tthe end of the year.

The powerful new satellite “will enable us to deliver higher speeds, more bandwidth to more users, and to deliver that service into more places than we’ve ever done before,” said Mark Dankberg, ViaSat’s chairman and CEO. “We’ll be able to serve more people at home, we’ll be able to extend our coverage cross theAtlantic Ocean, into South America, and into the Caribbean, for aeronautical customers, cruise ships and other applications.”
