Ripped off again

Just joined this forum and glad to see it isn't completely edited, some bad stuff gets through. Salesman never mention contract which he signed without my knowledge. Hacked install included sawing off a corner of a decorative beam, drilling through my stucco exterior and placing the modem in a room adjacent to my computer and TV dangling from the power cord. When confronted the salesman he says his job is to get the service into the house and I should hire IT to connect. Contacted corporate who pledged the world and then quit answering calls and emails. Not to mention the slowest internet on the planet and the gall to charge $80.00 a month. I had to keep my original ISP just to keep up. Crap company, can't wait to leave. I'll repair the damage myself, just don't want these hacks on my property.

12Mbps is VERY good speed. Better than I ever see. What is it you cant do with that speed?

There is no such thing as a three year contract. I dont know who you bought the service from, but it doesn't sound like from Viasat directly or a reputable local dealer.

There was a practice years back with cell companies. The third party who sold the service would do a double contract. One for them personally and one for the provider. I doubt this has been done here but there are plenty of reprehensible dealers that viasat lets represent them.

Keith, who informed you about waiving the termination fee? Viasat does not and has never had that policy.  I would like to figure out who is misinforming Viasat customers.  I apologize from the bottom of my heart.  Diana

I commented this morning but it didn't make the forum. That personsname would be Allysa *******. We went back and forth several

times, she offered some free time for the install damage and areducedprice. When I asked for all her pledges in writing she stoppedreturningcalls and answering emails. I kept all emails for proof.Regardless ofthe slow speeds, your hack team of installers butchered myhouse, let equipmentdangling by power cords and left me with internet Icould not use because it wasnot hard wired and I had no instructions. In addition, there was no mention of acontract when we talked and I founda forged contract in my email days laterwith the wrong physical address. When I reached out to salesman Jerry fromPayson, AZ, he claimed all heneeded to do was get the service in the door andthat he did notelectronically sign the contract 2 hours after the team had leftmy house.Keith

Kenneth,  I'm sorry you feel that way, but we do not delete posts on Facebook because they are negative. We welcome all points of view.  The only that may be hidden would be profanity.

I would suspect an FB block would be due to spam (posting same thing over and over), soliciting or, repeated profanity. They really don't ban or block for much else.

If he was banned from the Viasat Facebook page, he must have been a very bad boy.  Very negative comments are posted and remain there all the time.
