We have used your service since 2006. We were a lot happier when it was Wildblue. We had the value plan, 10 GB for 49.99/month. Loved it, NEVER exceeded our usage, never had to worry about it, ever. As time went on and things changed we had to change our plan and added a free zone from midnite to 5 am for many years. Then it became Exede and in Sept. 2015 started charging 9.99/month equipment lease fee. I use it for social media, email, banking and sometimes playing games. We never download movies and seldom watch youtube. Years ago we never exceeded our data usage, in fact there were times I would look up a recipe, forget the computer was on and not return to it for several hours yet we still never exceeded our usage. Only the last couple of years did we become aware of usage and had to start watching it. We have occasionally had to purchase additional gb's, but only a couple of times. Plans changed (again) and in February we (upgraded?) from Essential 10 to Exede 12 - 10 gb with a free zone from 3am to 8 am. Now we exceed our usage nearly every month! With NO changes in what we use the internet for. I have to watch my dashboard every day. But here is the real kicker! This week we went camping, gone Friday, Sat, Sun, back home on Monday and Tues AM, then gone again the rest of Tues, Wed, and back home today (Thursday) afternoon. I checked my usage when we returned home, it was at 6.9. I checked Facebook, the email, did some banking, printed a couple of things off the email, then I get this message that I have exceeded my usage and that the speeds will be significantly slower. It says I used 3.1 gb's in an hour? How can this be???? I called customer service and she said that I used a significant amount of gb's today. REALLY???? In an hour? There is NO WAY that this can be true. Yet she was talking about my usage a year ago and last month and going on and on and not listening to what I was telling her nor addressing the problem, just telling me that I could buy more. That is how you choose to handle it? Really???
