We are experiencing very slow internet. The system was installed over 10 years ago and has not had an upgrade that entire time. We are requesting a service call to update our equipment or at least figure out why our connections are so slow.

Kelly, this is a public forum and not a direct way to contact Exede/Viasat. You can use any of the contact options at the link below to set up a service call.

Is Exede even 10 years old?  Sounds like a Wildblue install to me, and by today's standards, Wildblue is slow.

Exede first went live in early 2012. I would have to agree with Stephen, it must be a legacy Wildblue installation.

Yeah Exede would have been 2012 and there's still quite a few people on Wildblue. Upgrading is fully worth it, I think those Wildblue plans only got up to 2mbps and had a lower data cap. Our stock of replacement equipment for those have dwindled quite a bit as well so servicing Wildblue in itself has been challenging.

Heck, I can't even see how data is used on Wildblue either. I almost always try to tell them to upgrade when I encounter one because it's so limited in scope compared to Exede. Even moreso in a few months when the ViaSat 2 plans hit.
